Voting will commence this Friday, 20 October 2023 at 8pm. Voting will close Friday, 17 November 2023 at 8pm and results will be announced in the meeting.

SFRC President Releases The Kraken!!

With Pacificon this weekend, we're taking a small break from information-heavy presentations. SFRC President Jeffrey Hoover be giving a brief demo of the KrakenRF SDR. This is a wonderful SDR tool designed to direction-find RF sources like errant transmitters or bad actors. This is the successor to the original KerberosSDR, a proof-of-concept that, while functional, needed some effort to use. He'll explain how the Kraken is very easy to set up and use and give an overview of the product and show its basic interfaces with a demo of the unit receiving a distant signal.
