The SFRC Slack Workspace Code of Conduct
The San Francisco Radio Club (SFRC) Slack Workspace welcomes people from all walks of life and with a wide range of technical experience. A varied and friendly community will make greater contributions to the practice of amateur radio and we will work diligently to make the SFRC Slack community welcoming for everyone with an interest in radio communications.As maintainers of the SFRC Slack workspace, and in the interest of fostering an open and welcoming community, we pledge to respect all contributors who comply with this Code of Conduct.We are committed to making participation in SFRC Slack a comfortable and useful experience for everyone to discuss issues related to amateur radio, regardless of their level of technical experience. When disagreements arise we do ask that such problems be resolved in a mature and tolerant manner. Behaviors that diminishes the goals of the SFRC Slack Workspace are not acceptable.The following is a list of examples of unacceptable behavior:
Continued use of the SFRC Slack Workspace will be considered agreement to comply with the Code of Conduct.
** Reporting harassment or other violations is the only acceptable reason to re-publish private messages (DM) without permission of the sender.

- Public or private posting of derogatory comments about individuals or groups
- Use of the Slack platform’s public or private features for any form of harassment
- Publishing private information of SFRC Slack Workspace members without explicit permission
- Re-publishing of private messages (DM) without permission of the sender **
- Use of SFRC Slack for unethical or criminal behavior
