This is a classic example of how our hobby is so wonderful. Last Saturday, for the first time, our club participated at Winter Field Day. We arrived early at Fort Funston, setup our radios, dipoles and verticals and operated as W6PW 3O San Francisco! We operated until our batteries ...almost run out. The highlight was a visit of a group of students from Cal Polytechnic, engineering department; all licensed amateurs with an active club W6BHZ!
