The San Francisco Radio Club wishes you a wonderful, healthy and prosperous New Year! May 2021 be the year that normality kicks back in, a year we remember for very different reasons than 2020!
2020 has been challenging in so many different ways for each one of us. Despite, 2020 was the year that our hobby brought us much, much closer together. We got creative, we built more projects, we got out and run events, we met virtually in unprecedented numbers, we looked after each other via our Welfare NETS. We saw sanity in isolation.
As we close this year, Robert AD6I, Steve N0XOY and I (Antonis) AA6PP are stepping down from the SFRC board. It is bittersweet for all of us. We feel incredibly proud of what we (including you) and the rest of the board achieved over the past several years. The club is in top condition; financially, techologicaly, in terms of membership, but most importantly in terms of community engagement, participation! We are over the moon and we could not do this without your help. We are stepping down, but not going away. We remain club members (some of us even life members) and we are here to help and support the new board to take the club even further!
Finally, we want to welcome Jeff KK6JJZ and Jeffrey KI6SGV to our board and congratulate Greg W2GMD for taking the lead for 2021. James KM6ASJ, Bruce KI6BSL, Nick NF1P and Kiley KD8DRX will ensure continuity, you are in super capable hands!
