If it has an IP address or emits a signal, Greg has touched it. Greg is a licensed EMT & EMS Supervisor and active in disaster response for as long as he's been a Ham. Greg is is a Disaster Communications Specialist and the current Radio Operations Lead for San Francisco's Auxiliary Communications Service. On the weekends Greg can be found deploying high-speed wireless connectivity with the San Francisco Wireless Emergency Mesh.

Jeffrey Hoover, KI6SGV
Vice President

While not an engineer by trade, Jeffrey has been licensed for 12+ years and has touched many facets of the hobby, from circuits to portable operating. When he's not on the radio, he's usually baking, writing software or staring at the sky. Jeffrey serves as Net Coordinator for the club.

Bruce Wolfe, KI6BSL
Secretary & PIO

With several decades experience in tech, non-/for-profit business, social work and legislative talents, Bruce brings a modicum of skills. He's a lifelong T'ai Chi practitioner & teacher, drives electric, and a lover of nature and animals (dabbling in various forms of dog training). Having enjoyed the radio waves since his teens Bruce has returned to the hobby five years ago.​

Kiley Davidson, KD8DRX
Director

Kiley grew up a short distance from the world’s largest amateur radio convention, where she got her license as a teen  so she could radio Skywarn observations to the local weather office. Today she is interested in emergency (and digital!) communications. Kiley serves as an ACS staff member, and a co-conspirator in creating the SF Wireless Emergency Mesh network.

Jeff Curry, KK6JJZ

Jeff is a finance professor and author of numerous books on international business. As a lifetime member of SFRC, his interests include portable HF QRP and em-comms as well as antenna design and construction. He is active in several radio groups in the US and Europe.

Kent Carter, AJ6NI
Director

Kent was licensed in 2017 after attending a Scouts on the Air event with his son. Since then, he has built his own HF antenna for his Sunset District home, been active on FT8, and put together a mobile SSB HF rig. Being an avid sailor, he has brought his avocations together by being a founder of Boats on the Air, a program where boats are activated with a ham radio station.

Allan has served the club in many different roles over the past decade. With his experience as an Attorney he is currently SFARC's trustee and legal advisor.
