It is official! On Saturday, November 7th, the San Francisco Radio Club will be running a Special event at Angel Island. We call this event the SFRC OTA-Trifecta as we will combine a Parks on the Air (POTA), a US Islands on the Air (US Islands OTA) and a Summits of the Air (SOTA) activation all at the same time! We have secured the callsign W6P for the duration of the event.
Our event will run during a three hour window. The team will assemble at the Tiburon Ferry terminal just before 10am that morning. Once at Angel Island, we plan to split into three teams. Team SOTA will head for the top of Mt Livermoor (elev. 788f) and setup a 20/40 ssb and a 20/40 cw station. Team US Islands OTA will head at the Ridge Sites and operate a 20/40 ssb station. Team POTA will head to Camping Site 10, west of the island and setup a 20/40 ssb station.
We plan to have antennas up and start operating by 19:15UTC/11:15 PST. All contacts on our logbook will receive a QSL card

Care for the environment
- Activators must not cause any damage to the environment. This includes damage to the mountain itself, walls, fences, livestock, buildings, etc. Any Activator who is found to have deliberately or carelessly caused such damage may be, at the Programme Management Team's discretion, excluded from the programme.
- Activators are required to operate in a manner that is in keeping with the spirit of the Programme.
- Activators must operate with due consideration for other people on the hills. Excessive noise, inconsiderate siting of equipment and antennas, etc. is not acceptable and potentially brings the Programme into disrepute. Evidence of such behaviour may result, at the Programme Management Team's discretion, in exclusion from the programme.
