Josua Villyard (N6TZF)

Intro to Arduinos & Wireless Communications  - Workshop

Picture
This will be a hands on introduction to Arduinos, breadboards, basic programming concepts, and wireless communication between Arduinos.  We will be using unlicensed frequencies and very low power to remotely control an LED connected to a remote Arduino.  Each individual will wire up the Arduino, LED, and transceiver together.  The program that will run on the Arduino will be provided in a working condition and walked though and explained at a high level.  Kits cost $10 and include the following; one Arduino, breadboard, wires, and transceiver.  Please bring a charged laptop running any of the following operating systems (Windows 7 or higher, Mac OSX 10.7 or newer, Linux).  Open to the public and non-licensed members, no prior knowledge of electronics or programming is needed.  Please download the needed files from this link [to be provided] before the workshop.
