SFRC members and Bay Area operators are encouraged to come by the VA and sit in at the Field Day 2025 Club Stations or just to hang out to talk about ham radio.

- Field Day Operations begin at 11:00 PDT. Field Day Operations and will cease at 17:00 PDT.
- The SFRC will provide club stations utilizing multiple bands and modes and will be using the W6PW callsign for making contacts. Only stations authorized by the SFRC are permitted by the VA Medical Center to operate from Bldg. #211 during Field Day. Those club stations will be in compliance with Field Day Rules: https://contests.arrl.org/ContestRules/Field-Day-Rules.pdf
- This year the GOTA (Get-On-The-Air) station will be set up to allow attendees to try out their own portable gear on a variety of antenna setups or to work from the GOTA club station set up for 10m. Those wishing to test their own portable gear (w/ power supply) must reserve a 30 minute timeslot between 1130 – 1630 PDT. Requests should be sent via DM to @Jeff Curry KK6JJZ on Slack.
- SFRC authorized club stations will be permitted inside the designated operations area. All other vehicles can park on the lower deck adjacent to the designated operations area. (see maps below)
