New Meeting Location - Randall Museum
As we continue to search for a regular meeting space for the club, this month we will be at the Randall Museum this Friday at 7pm. This museum was renovated and reopened in 2018. There is access to front entrance from the parking lot and surrounding streets. We'll be in the Randall Room on the upper level. There will be a security officer at the entrance who can guide folks where to go. There is ADA and elevator access.
SFRC President, Bruce Wolfe N6BMW, will be activating near the front entrance between 2pm and 2:30pm on Friday on the W6PW 2m repeater as well as HF.

Club Meeting Presentation
Kaitlyn KN6MAN, and her famous sidekick "Astrocat," will be presenting Building Your Own Ham Radio Using GNU Radio and an SDR.
Modern RF development largely moved away from a physical transistors and breadboards. Instead, a software defined radio (SDR) can make device prototyping as simple as drawing a diagram. Software defined radios have become so ubiquitous with RF development that the majority of radio-related chips today process data as if it were a single-purpose SDR. Let's make our own ham radios together in this beginner-friendly introduction to SDR development.
