Call for SFRC Comms Operators for 2025 SF Half-Marathon

Annually, SFRC members volunteer to participate in providing crucial communications for various public events, one of which, are marathon races. On Sunday, February 2, 2025 is the annual SF Half Marathon that runs through the Panhandle area and Golden Gate Park.

This is a call for SFRC Members to volunteer for communications operations. This is a smaller race so we're just needing a dozen or so of you to help. If you are new to the hobby or to working a marathon, we always try to accommodate everyone by grouping you up with other experienced operators so you can learn the experience.
We will primarily be using our UHF DMR repeater for this race. If you need a loaner, please note it when you register.
