KRE & The Jim Maxwell Memorial Amateur Radio Station!

Come to the California Historical Radio Society (ARRL affiliated) radio station KRE social, radio collecting and fund-raising event in Berkeley on July 15 (10 AM - 2 PM); all amateur radio operators are invited to enjoy the Jim Maxwell Memorial Amateur Radio Station W6CF on HF on July 15th and it's a great opportunity to pick up some vintage gear -- even with vacuum tubes! W6CF is evolving towards emergency services as well as historical operations. Most hams will enjoy the KRE radio museum in-formation and the auction. $5 gate charge for free food, entertainment,  auctions and tour.

That's the KRE radio station, with the "big-stick" antenna, going North or South, West or East on Highway Interstate 80, exit at Ashby/Shellmound, go North a block on Shellmound Road and drive into the station compound on the left.
