Working together with the Cathy Club, the SFARC will have a special presentation by a very special amateur radio celebrity, Tom Christian (VP6TC) from Pitcairn Island. He will also talk about his recent DX-pedition to Ducie Island. It was the first ever for that location and Tom was there. Ducie has just been added to DXCC and is #335 on that list.
We know that this is a last minute event, but you should drop everything on Saturday evening and come out to our usual meeting place, the VA Hospital Auditorium in Building 7. Take the elevator to the next floor up and follow the sign. It all starts at 6pm. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime event. DON'T MISS IT!!
