Repeater News
December 2003

The Club Repeater Antenna now has this view with the machine connected to the other end of the coax!! W6PW/R is on the air from Twin Peaks as of December 3. The PL is enabled so set your radios (transmit) for 114.8hz and enjoy. To elimate co-channel chatter coming from your radio from the Shingle Springs repeater in the Sierra Foothills when W6PW/R is not in use, set your PL receive mode decoder (if you have that option in your rig) to 114.8 as well.

A final inspection takes place before the cavities are placed on the top shelf

Bill's  Bird watt meter is connected and A-C is applied to the repeater. The machine transmitter applies power and over 40 watts are feed into the coax. Reflected power is measured and the meter doesn't even deflect!! A perfect match..VSWR 1:1!!

In the meantime, this little critter takes a break from creating his masterpiece
