The San Francisco Radio Club will hold this annual event at our usual location, Ft Miley West (the ocean side of the VA campus) on June 24th and 25th. Setup begins at 7am on the 24th and we'll be on the air by 10am that morning.
Continuous operation will conclude Sunday the 25th. Plans include lunch and dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday morning.
All are welcome and encouraged to participate. Bring friends, relatives and neighbors. Everyone gets on the air! Be there-it's a fun time!
Our WiresX W6PW node is back up! The issue has been resolved.
HRO As you may have heard, we recently remodeled our Oakland Ham Radio Outlet Store after consolidating both our Sunnyvale and Oakland Bay Area facilities into one location.
Now it’s time to showcase it off to the Northern California Ham Radio Community and what better way to do it than with a Grand Re-Opening Event. The event runs from 10 AM until 5:30 PM on Saturday June 17th and includes Hourly Door Prizes, Exclusive Discounts, Product Demos and Representatives from the Major Manufacturers. We will also have Finger Food and Drinks for everyone that attends.
With Field Day fast approaching your event staff is hard at work to make this the best possible weekend. Extra equipment is always needed so let us know what you’d like to bring. Transceivers, antennas, laptops and tuners help to make sure everybody gets on the air! Let me know what you have at firstname.lastname@example.org. Lunch on Saturday the 24th and Breakfast on Sunday the 25th will be available to participants. Further details will be discussed during the May 19th and June 16th membership meetings.
Remember, you can get an operating warm-up by joining the Amateur Radio Club QSO Party team June 17-18, 2017. Sign up on this page.
